The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is the official memorial to The Holocaust, located next to the National Mall in Washington, DC. It provides the public with documentation and interpretation of the history of The Holocaust. SH Acoustics was honored to work on the acoustical treatment and audio systems throughout the inaugural exhibit.
In the years since the museum’s opening, we have been involved in a complete overhaul of the audio system and acoustics for the 500-seat Meyerhoff Theater event space to optimize it for lectures and other spoken-word events. We have also been involved in the acoustic and audio design of multiple new exhibits, including the Americans exhibit.
