Museum of the Bible

Washington, DC

The Museum of the Bible is said to be one of the most progressive and engaging museums in the world. The museum shows its visitors the impact of the Bible throughout history by showcasing 1,150 rare documents and artifacts in its permanent collection and over 2,000 items in temporary exhibits throughout its six-floor, 430,000-square-feet space, which stretches nearly an entire city block. Starting with its gourmet dining and biblical rooftop garden and finishing with the extensive detail put into each exhibit’s audio/visual capabilities, this museum is an impressive experience.

SH Acoustics was honored to be the only exhibit-based consultant, providing acoustical design services for all four primary exhibit galleries. We also provided exhibit audio-design and calibration services for two of the four galleries.
