The History Hall within the Canadian Museum of History opened in July 2017 in celebration of our northern neighbor’s 150th anniversary. With its 40,000 square feet of artifacts, media productions, theaters, and soundscapes spread over three unique galleries, the History Hall is now Canada’s primary exhibit experience in a major national museum that details key events and stories of the nation’s complete timeline from ancient days to present times.
SH Acoustics was selected as part of a consortium of media producers and system integrators to help with the acoustic challenges facing the museum. We led the acoustic and audio design, media-production sonic coordination, and calibration for all audio-based programs.
